2023 is set to be an exciting Football year with the Womens World Cup build up and games in July and August. We look forward to sharing this excitement with our football community through club based events this season.
To kick off the 2023 season the club must hold the Annual General Meeting which is scheduled for 6pm on the 20th of February at the clubrooms.   Nominations are now open for the Board. If you would like to be involved in your club at the Governance level and would like further information on the role of Board members please get in touch with Dean Eagar the Club Chairperson dean@westernsuburbs.co.nz.   Nominations close at 5pm on the 6th of February 2023. Wellington United are hosting a women’s over 25 pre-season tournament for social and competitive teams. Registrations to Open February 2023   The email Inbox is starting to buzz with excited footballers keen to register. Registrations will open online in the first week of February, once the details for the season are finalised and registration portal is ready to go. Registrations will be able to be completed online via the Western Suburbs website using Friendly manager which or returning players should be very simple.   Inperson registration days will also be held for new players and anyone who would like to enter in to a payment plan for their playing fees, or those that just want to to register in person.
Having a Clear out?? The Club operates a boot bank to help families with boots for players, we accept clean and tidy boots in all sizes. If your kids have outgrown their boots, please consider dropping them to the clubrooms (they can be left outside the glass sliding door) or dropped to the front door of the administrator at 64 Samwell Drive Whitby at any time.
